Teen Advisory Board

What is the Teen Advisory Board?

The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is a volunteer opportunity with Siouxland Libraries. Members will meet once a month for one hour to advise the library on teen programming, reading programs, displays, and more. Meetings qualify for volunteer hours.

Why join?

To develop your leadership skills while helping shape the future of teen services within Siouxland Libraries. Teens will also get special behind-the-scenes access and develop library management skills.

When are meetings?

Meetings will be the first Monday of the month from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at the Caille Branch (4100 S. Carnegie Cir.)

How do I join?

Teens who have completed 7th grade and are currently in school (public, private, or homeschool) may apply. Applicants will be contacted by library staff within two weeks of the application closing with more information.

Applications for the 2026-2027 school year are open from August 11 to September 14.
