About Siouxland Libraries

Siouxland Libraries is proud to have provided information, resources, and services to Sioux Falls and Minnehaha County for the past 30 years. Established in 1995, Siouxland Libraries has diligently served residents by connecting them to information and ideas to enrich their lives and by fostering a love of reading and learning through welcoming spaces. 

Since its establishment, Siouxland Libraries has:

  • offered free and equitable access to a vast collection of books, digital resources, and educational materials to enrich the lives of individuals of all ages and backgrounds
  • evolved to meet the changing needs of our community, offering programs to support early literacy, technology training, job search assistance, and cultural events
  • provided welcoming and inclusive spaces for residents to connect, learn, and grow with 13 branch locations
