All Siouxland Libraries locations and Expanded Access will be closed Sunday, August 31, and Monday, September 1, in honor of Labor Day.
The Oak View Branch is temporarily closed due to remodeling. The branch anticipates re-opening in late December 2025.

Have you ever wondered how Siouxland Libraries came to be? Before Siouxland there were two systems, the city and the county, each with their own histories. In 1995, the Sioux Falls Public Library merged with the Minnehaha County Rural Public Library and Siouxland Libraries was born.
Jodi Fick is the last remaining staff member that worked for the library before the system merge. She was the Assistant Director of Minnehaha County Rural Public Library, and now we are interviewing her 30 years later as she runs Siouxland Libraries as the Director!
