On September 17, 1995, the Harriet L.J. Ronning Branch Library opened for business. It was the first library to open under Siouxland Libraries, which was created when the Sioux Falls Public Library merged with the Minnehaha County Rural Public Library on June 1, 1995. It features a drive-up window for guest convenience and a giant light board that both children and adults love.
