Kerry Grombacher and Aspen Black, award-winning songwriters, have an abiding interest in, and love of, the history and culture of the United States. For many years, they've spent long hours behind the wheel, traversing the nation’s highways and backroads as touring musicians. They look at the vast American landscape and imagine the stories that have taken place in the places they pass through. Asking themselves, “What do I see, what do I know, what do I feel, and what do I imagine?” they write songs and stories about the history, the blended cultures, and the modern traditions of the west. These are their “Songs & Stories of the American West.”
