Summer Tutoring Program

Siouxland Libraries will offer free summer tutoring for elementary school students who need help with their reading and writing. Our tutoring program is open to elementary school children. Registration begins on May 1; tutoring sessions will run July 8 - August 1. For more information, contact Youth Services at 367-8710.

Children's Book Walk

Join us at the Downtown Greenway Amphitheater on Thursday, May 30 from 9 until 11 a.m for our book walk. Families are invited to attend Do Re Let’s Play performances at 9:30 and 10:05 a.m., meet the FitKids characters from Sanford WebMD, and follow the pages of two children’s books posted along the bike path.

Children's Book Drive

Eagle Scout candidate Caleb Impecoven and Siouxland Libraries are collecting children’s books for the Feeding South Dakota Summer Backpack Program. Donate your new and gently used books at the Main, Caille, Oak View, and Ronning branch libraries from May 1 to June 15. Members of Boy Scout Troop 48 will collect and prepare them for distribution.
