Fall Storytimes

Develop a love of reading, enrich your child’s listening, social, and pre-reading skills, and connect with other families through the libraries’ story programs. The Fall session continues through Saturday, November 8.

Spooky Stories Writing Contest

Put your spooky writing skills to the test, submit your best scary story by October 27, and be prepared perform it! The winner will be determined by the loudest applause, so friends and family are encouraged to come and watch! Open to ghouls in K-6 grade.

Draw Some Awesome...

Learn to Draw Some Awesome art with artist Julia Matuska. She will teach techniques, tips, and tricks to perfect your drawing skills. Drawing supplies will be provided. Recommended for elementary, middle, and high school students. This week, we will celebrate South Dakota’s 125th anniversary.

Dare to Be

Who would you dare to be?

Join us at the Prairie West Library for stories and activities from The Dangerous Book for Boys and The Daring Book for Girls. Collect weekly stamps in your field guide on a journey of discovery! For kids, grades 1-4.

Wednesday, November 5, 3:15 p.m. -- Dare to be an animal tracker!

Registration is not required.
