Library staff cannot answer your specific tax questions.
Call your local Siouxland Libraries branch to check the availability of specific tax forms and instruction booklets.
To print or download any form you need, visit the IRS website. Forms can be printed for $0.10 per page.

AARP Foundation Tax-Aide
AARP Foundation Tax-Aide will be providing free virtual tax assistance by appointment.
They will be scheduling appointments starting February 16. Schedulers will be taking calls Monday through Thursday, 9:00am to 3:00pm.
Virtual appointments will start March 1.

Inter-Lakes Community Action Partnership
The Inter-Lakes Community Action Partnership (ICAP) is administering the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. This program offers free tax help to those whose households make $57,000 or less, persons with disabilities, and taxpayers with limited English proficiency who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals.
Contact the local ICAP office at 605-334-2808 for more information. Appointments will be virtual this year.
Call to request a packet, or pick one up at the ICAP office at 505 N. Western Avenue. The office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00am-noon and 1:00-4:30pm.
IRS Free File
The IRS also offers a service called Free File, which allows you to prepare and file your federal individual income tax returns online for free.
There is an IRS office in Sioux Falls at 1720 S. Southeastern Ave. More information about hours and available services here.
