Payment Options:

Pay Online

City of Sioux Falls utility bills can be paid online. One-time payments by Visa, Mastercard or Discover can be made by simply clicking on the one-time payment tile located at the top of this page.

Enroll in Auto Pay

You can arrange for your payment to be deducted from your checking account automatically with Auto Pay. To enroll in Auto Pay, choose from the following options:

Enroll Online

Sign up online or through our self-service portal OneMeter. OneMeter requires account sign up and auto pay enrollment. Enrollment is immediate after successful submission and verification of information.

You will need the following information for online account sign up and enrollment:

  • Primary account holders name as it appears on the bill and your complete 17-digit account number.
  • The routing transit number (identifies your bank, credit union, or financial institution) as well as your checking or savings account number.
  • Once enrolled, Auto Pay will begin with your next bill pending account verification.
  • Bills processing by Auto Pay state: *BANK PAYMENT* THE AMOUNT OF THIS BILL WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY DEDUCTED FROM YOUR BANK ACCOUNT ON THE DATE SHOWN on the remittance stub.

Enroll by Mail

Print and send us the mail-in application by following the instructions on the form. Mail-in processing time takes about two to three weeks. You can find our mail-in applications under forms and reports.

You will need the following information:

  • Primary account holders name, account information and your complete 17-digit account number.
  • A voided check.
  • Once enrolled, Auto Pay will begin with your next bill pending verification.
  • Bills processing by Auto Pay state: *BANK PAYMENT* THE AMOUNT OF THIS BILL WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY DEDUCTED FROM YOUR BANK ACCOUNT ON THE DATE SHOWN on the remittance stub.

Pay by Phone

Call 605-367-8131. Our automated phone payment system is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The City accepts Visa, Mastercard, or Discover debit or credit cards. Have your 17-digit account number located in the upper left corner of your bill available for payment processing.

Pay by Mail

Sioux Falls Utilities provides a courtesy preaddressed envelope for mailing checks. Please do not mail cash. Payments may be mailed to:

Pay at a Drop Box

A drop box is located in the alley east of City Hall, 224 West Ninth Street, in downtown Sioux Falls. Please do not place cash in the drop box.
