YOGA IN THE PARK SERIES

Terrace Park | AGES: 14+

Come enjoy our beautiful park system and take a deep breath of fresh air with us while gaining flexibility, better posture, and learning stress–relieving moves through yoga! We are excited to partner with local yoga studios to provide an all ages and levels session. Each session hosted by a different instructor. Weekly door prize drawings will be held, must be present to win. Weather permitting. Please bring your own yoga mat.

YOGA AT THE MILL

FALLS PARK AT QUEEN BEE MILL | AGES: 18+

Come celebrate National Parks and Recreation month with yoga at one of our historic sites in town. Join us for a relaxing yoga session where all ages and levels are welcome. Each session will introduce a different yoga partner in town. Door prize drawings will be held, must be present to win. Weather permitting. No registration required.

FIRST AID, CPR, AND AED

KUEHN C.C. | AGES: 16+

This classroom course trains in basic first aid, adult CPR, and AED skills to meet OSHA requirements. This is not the CPR-required course for healthcare providers such as EMTs, nursing, physicians, etc. American Safety and Health Institute two-year certification and student manual included. Participants should bring a lunch for the 30-minute lunch break period. Course presented by Heartstarters.

SWING DANCE IN THE PARK

TERRACE PARK BAND SHELL | AGES: 18+

Swing is pure American on the dance floor. With its fast turns and spins to music of the 40s, 50s, and beyond, everyone recognizes the fun of the Swing. Learn to dance the Swing in the fresh air setting of a park. There’s no better place to “play.”

COOKING WITH ESSENTIAL OILS

Come see and taste how easy and delicious it is to cook with essential oils! This is an amazing way to absorb the therapeutic benefit to support your immune system, complete a gentle detox, regulate hormones, or get the anti-inflammatory benefits your body needs. They are cost effective and flavor packed.

School is just around the corner. This can be emotionally overwhelming for both parents and kids. We will discuss natural solutions to help support emotional highs and lows, allow your student to focus better, and boost their immune system.

HEALTHY HABITS

OYATE C.C. | AGES: 18+

We all know what’s good for us (or maybe not). The real question is how to incorporate it into our lives and make it stick. Advice will be provided for the do’s and don’ts for making better choices every day. Hands-on demonstrations are provided live. We’ll talk stretching, meditating, nutrition, and we’ll exercise the “how to” and “how to make it happen.” Please bring your own yoga mat.
