Street Closure - Phillips Avenue

Beginning on Monday, August 7, 2023, North Phillips Avenue will be closed from Ninth Street to Eighth Street to allow crews to apply a Slurry Seal.

Phillips Avenue will be opened by early afternoon on the same day.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closure – Benson Road

Beginning on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, the outside eastbound lane of East Benson Road will be closed between Minnesota Avenue and Fourth Avenue to allow crews to bore electrical utility lines.

The work is anticipated to be completed within two weeks.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Parking Lot Closure – Farm Field Park

Beginning on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, Farm Field Park will be closed to vehicle traffic.

The park will remain open via pedestrian/bike access from the bike trail. Expansion and improvements will be made to the existing parking lot.

Weather permitting the parking lot will be re-opened by early September.
