Street Closure – West 32nd Street
Beginning on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, West 32nd Street will be closed between South Ellis Road and South Wheatland Avenue.
NISS Excavation will be working on new utilities. The work is expected to be complete and the street open by Wednesday August 9, 2023.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
Street Closure – South Williams Avenue
Beginning on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, South Williams Avenue will be closed between West 12th Street and West 13th Street.
Spielman Excavating will be working on utilities. The work is expected to be complete and the street open by Thursday August 10, 2023.

Street Closure – South Tallgrass Avenue from 74th Street to 89th Street
Beginning on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, South Tallgrass Avenue will be closed between West 74th Street to West 89th Street to allow crews to install underground utilities and street surfacing. Access will be maintained for local residents only.
The project consists of grading, utility, and surfacing construction at the intersection of South Tallgrass Avenue and West 85th Street.
The project is anticipated to be reopened to traffic in late November 2023 for the winter. Construction will resume in the spring 2024, with final completion in the summer of 2024.

Beginning on Thursday, August 3, 2023, West Ninth Street will be closed between South Menlo Avenue and South Grange Avenue.
Midwest Excavating will be working on new utilities. The work is expected to be complete and the street open by Friday August 11, 2023.
