Lane Closures – 26th Street

Beginning on Monday, July 24, 2023, the eastbound lanes of East 26th Street will be closed from Cleveland Avenue to Alpine Avenue to allow crews to make improvements to the ADA accessibility and roadway along the corridor. Two-way traffic will be maintained with one lane in each direction on the north side of East 26th Street with left turns at major signalized intersections.

This is the first of two phases of the project, which includes both sides of East 26th Street from Cleveland Avenue to Alpine Avenue. The entire project is anticipated to be complete by late fall of 2023.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closure – Burnside Street

Beginning on Monday, July 24, 2023, the westbound lane of West Burnside Street between Western Avenue and Sigler Avenue will be closed to allow crews to perform concrete work.  One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction.

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be complete in three weeks. 

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closure – Marion Road

Beginning on Monday, July 24, 2023, the southbound lane of North Marion Road between Madison Street and Bluebird Place will be closed to allow crews to make improvements to the ADA accessibility along the west side of the road. This work will include accessible curb ramps and sidewalks. One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction.

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be complete by mid-August.
