Street Closure – Cleveland Avenue

Beginning on Monday, July 17, 2023, Cleveland Avenue will be closed at 6th Street between 9 am and 3 pm to allow crews to pave asphalt through the intersection. One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction on 6th Street. Drivers will not be able to access Cleveland Avenue from 6th Street during this work.

Road closed signage will be in place during the closure. Motorists should consider using Sycamore Avenue or Cliff Avenue as alternate routes.

Lane Closure – Cliff Avenue

Beginning on Monday, July 17, 2023, the outside southbound lane of Cliff Avenue between east Rice Street and east Fourth Street will be closed to traffic to allow crews to perform concrete repairs.

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be completed within one week.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Street Closure – 33rd  Street

Beginning on Monday, July 17, 2023, West 33rd Street will be closed between South Grange Avenue and South Prairie Avenue. Drivers should use 26th Street.

Soukup will be repairing asphalt, curb and gutter, approaches, and sidewalk. The work is expected to be complete and open by Thursday July 27, 2023.

Street Closure – 31st Street

Beginning on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, West 31st Street will be closed between South Duluth Avenue and South Spring Avenue.

Spielman Excavating will be removing a tree. The work is expected to be complete, and the street open, by Thursday, July 20, 2023.

Street Closure - Cameo Way

Beginning at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, Cameo Way will be closed east of Bruce Road to allow crews to complete underground utility work. A detour route will be set up from 24th Street through Riverdale Park to allow access to the east end of Cameo Way.

The park will remain open during construction. Traffic control will be in place.

This work is anticipated to be complete within two days.
