Street Closures

Street Closure – Cleveland Avenue

Beginning on Friday, July 14, 2023, North Cleveland Avenue will be closed at Sixth Street between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to allow crews to pave asphalt through the intersection. One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction on Sixth Street. Traffic will not be able to access Cleveland Avenue from Sixth Street during this work.

Signage will be in place during the closure. Motorists should consider using Sycamore Avenue or Cliff Avenue as alternate routes. 

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Street Closure - Western Avenue

Beginning on Friday, July 14, 2023, South Western Avenue will be closed from 26th Street to 15th Street to allow crews to apply a Slurry Seal on Western Avenue.

Traffic will be maintained to the MIDCO Aquatic center using 24th Street. (See the attached map)

This work will be completed by 12:00 p.m. and open to traffic.
