Lane Closures – 14th Street

Beginning on Monday, July 10, 2023, the outside westbound and outside eastbound lanes will be closed on 14th Street at the railroad tracks between Fourth Avenue and Fifth Avenue to allow crews to install signal upgrades.  

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be completed within one week.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Park Closure – Upper Sherman Park

Beginning on Monday July 10, 2023, Upper Sherman Park loop road will be closed to traffic. The playground and restroom will remain open during construction activities. The loop road will be milled and overlaid with asphalt. 

Weather permitting, the loop road will be re-opened by July 25, 2023.

Street Closure - Western Avenue

Beginning on Monday, July 10, 2023, Western Avenue will be closed in segments from 41st Street to Madison Street to allow crews to apply a Slurry Seal. The first segment to be closed will be from 41st Street to 26th Street (Monday, July 10), followed by 26th Street to 12th Street (Tuesday, July 11), and then the final segment will be from 12th Street to Madison Street (Wednesday, July 12). Each segment will be opened by 5 pm on their respective day. All segments will be completed by Wednesday evening.

Traffic will be maintained to the MIDCO Aquatic center using 24th Street. (See the attached map)

Street Closure – Ebenezer Avenue

Beginning on Monday, July 10, 2023, Ebenezer Avenue will be closed between Fifth Street and Delbridge Street. Precision Dirtworks will be working on new utilities.

The work is expected to be complete in one week.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and pedestrians may need to use alternate routes.

Street Closure – Duluth Avenue

Beginning on Monday, July 10, 2023, Duluth Avenue will be closed between West 57th Street and West Batcheller Lane to allow crews to asphalt overlay the street. 

The work is expected to be complete by the end of the day.

Street Closure – Yellowstone Lane

Beginning on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, South Yellowstone Lane will be closed between West 57th Street and West Batcheller Lane to allow crews to asphalt overlay the street. 

The work is expected to be complete by the end of the day.
