Street Closure – Marion Road

Beginning on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, North Marion Road (471st Avenue) will be closed from Minnehaha County Highway 130 (258th Street) south for a half mile to allow construction crews to reconstruct and widen Marion Road.  Improvements will include new water main, a storm drainage system, street lighting, and concrete paving.

This work is expected to be complete in late October.  Motorists should use I-29 or 470th Avenue as alternate routes.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and to use an alternate route.
