Utility Work – Summit Avenue between 17th Street and 18th Street

Beginning on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, crews will be performing repairs to the sanitary sewer on South Summit Avenue between 17th Street and 18th Street. There will be intermittent short term lane restrictions, short term road closures, and driveway access restrictions as the work progresses.  

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be complete within one week.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes. 

Utility Work – 27th Street between Norton Avenue and Walts Avenue

Beginning on Thursday, June 15, 2023, crews will be performing repairs to the sanitary sewer at numerous locations along West 27th Street between Norton Avenue and Walts Avenue. There will be intermittent short term lane restrictions, short term road closures, and driveway access restrictions as the work progresses.  

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be complete within two weeks.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes. 

Street Closure – Phillips Avenue

Beginning at 8 a.m. on Thursday, June 15, 2023, South Phillips Avenue will be closed between Tenth Street and Eleventh Street.

Northwest Corporation will be using a crane to set a roof top unit. 

This work is anticipated to be complete by 10 a.m.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closure – 49th Street

Beginning on Monday, June 19, 2023, the inside westbound lane, and the inside eastbound turn lane on 49th Street will be closed west of Western Avenue to allow crews to perform concrete repairs. One westbound lane of traffic and one eastbound turn lane will be maintained during construction. 

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be complete within one week.
