Lane Closures – 41st Street

Beginning on Monday morning, June 12, 2023, the outside eastbound lane, and the right turn lane on East 41st Street will be closed, beginning just west of Linedrive Avenue to allow crews to perform concrete removals, and install concrete ramps, sidewalk, and fillet construction.

This is in conjunction with the Veterans Parkway Traffic Signal Improvements.

This project is anticipated to be complete late summer 2023.

Lane Closure – Sixth Street

Beginning on Monday, June 12, 2023, the westbound lanes of East Sixth Street will be closed between Linwood Court and Sycamore Avenue to allow crews to perform concrete joint repairs, partial depth concrete repairs, and curb and gutter repairs. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained in the eastbound lanes.

In the upcoming weeks, the location of the lane closures on Sixth Street will vary between Shepherd Avenue and Sycamore Avenue. At a minimum, one lane of traffic in each direction will always remain open. Access to businesses, parks and schools will be maintained. Access to side streets will be maintained if possible.

This work is anticipated to be complete by late October 2023.

Lane Shifts - Western Avenue

Beginning on Monday, June 12, 2023, the southbound and northbound lanes on Western Avenue will be narrowed and shifted to the east between Oak Street and 31st Street to allow crews to perform a concrete repair. One lane of traffic in each direction on Western Avenue will be maintained during construction.

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be complete within one week.

Street Closure - Cameo Way

Beginning on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, South Cameo Way will be closed east of Bruce Road to allow crews to complete underground utility work. A detour route will be on 24th Street through Riverdale Park to allow access to the east end of Cameo Way.

This work is anticipated to be complete by the end of the day.

The park will remain open during construction with traffic control in place.
