Emergency Street Closure – Western Avenue

Beginning immediately, Monday, November 7, 2022, North Western Avenue will be closed at Sixth Street. Northbound traffic will be detoured east on Ninth Street to West Avenue, and southbound traffic will be detoured west on Sixth Street to Holly Avenue.

The City of Sioux Falls Water Maintenance crew will be repairing a water main with the Street Department crew blacktopping this area this afternoon.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
