Lane Closure – Louise Avenue

Beginning on Wednesday morning, October 16, 2019, the rightmost northbound lane will be closed on Louise Avenue at 77th Street. Black-Top Paving is doing site work on the Avera Campus. This closure is expected to be open by Thursday morning, October 17, 2019.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closure – Kiwanis Avenue

Beginning on Wednesday morning, October 16, 2019, the rightmost northbound lane will be closed on Kiwanis Avenue between Nicole Street and 31st Street. Xcel Energy is working on utilities. This closure is expected to be open by Wednesday afternoon, October 16, 2019.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Street Closure – 59th Street

Beginning on Thursday morning, October 17, 2019, 59th Street will be closed between Nevada Avenue and Solberg Avenue. Friessen Construction will be installing new utilities for StayBridge Suites. The work is expected to be completed by evening of Friday, October 25, 2019.

Lane Closures along 41st Street

Beginning on Thursday, October 17, 2019, geotechnical crews will be performing subsurface utility explorations along 41st Street between Marion Road and Shirley Avenue. Impacts to the driving lanes will be intermittent. The work is expected to be completed within three weeks.

Lane Closures - 60th Street North

Beginning on Thursday, October 17, 2019, the inside eastbound lane and inside westbound lanes on 60th Street North will be closed between Interstate 29 and Westport Avenue to allow crews to perform concrete pavement repairs. After work on the inside lanes are complete, work will shift to the outside eastbound lane and outside westbound lane.

The inside eastbound lane on 60th Street North will be closed west of Career Avenue to allow crews to perform concrete pavement repairs. After work on the inside lane is complete, work will shift to the outside eastbound lane.

One lane of traffic at all locations will be maintained at all times during construction.

All work is expected to be completed within two weeks with favorable weather conditions.
