Lane Closure – Sixth Street

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, October 14, 2019, the outside westbound lane of East Sixth Street will be closed between Cleveland Avenue and Twin Towers Circle to allow crews to perform underground utility exploration. Westbound traffic on Sixth Street will be maintained in the inside westbound lane. Eastbound traffic will not be impacted.

This work is anticipated to be complete by October 15, 2019.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Street Closure – 85th Street

Beginning on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, West 85th Street will be closed between South Tuscan Club Circle and South Tallgrass Avenue.

The Street Division is performing road maintenance.

This work is anticipated to be complete by the end of day Thursday, October 17, 2019.

Sidewalk Closure – Bahnson Avenue

Beginning on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, the sidewalk along the east side of North Bahnson Avenue between Third Street and Sixth Street will be closed to allow crews to perform soil borings and subsurface utility investigations. Pedestrians will be detoured to the sidewalk on the west side of Bahnson Avenue.

The work is anticipated to be complete by Wednesday, October 16, 2019.

Street Closure – Dakota Avenue

Beginning on Wednesday morning, October 16, 2019, South Dakota Avenue will be closed between 13th Street and 14th Street.

Henry Carlson Company will be using a crane to lift materials onto a building. 

This work is anticipated to be complete by the evening of October 18, 2019.

Parking Lane Closure - Minnesota Avenue

Beginning on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, geotechnical crews will be performing soil borings along South Minnesota Avenue between 18th Street and Russell Street. Motorists should expect periodic parking lane closures in the area of work. No impacts to the driving lanes are expected. 

This work is anticipated to be complete by Friday, October 18, 2019.
