Work of Sioux Falls’ Muralist Featured at Downtown Library

The work of Sioux Falls artist Shaine Schroeder will be featured on the Art Walls of the Downtown Library, 200 North Dakota Avenue, September 1 through October 31, 2019.

Schroeder has created dozens of murals, had work featured in music videos, motion pictures, and periodicals. His client list ranges from film and television actors and directors, to musicians, those in the fashion industry, and more. He has lived, worked, and exhibited in Phoenix, Minneapolis, and most recently Los Angeles.

"My work is my reality,” he says. “It’s how I see things, and I can’t shut it off. There’s a perpetual circus in my head.”

“I have a difficult time attempting to make everything on canvas look perfect. Instead, I paint it exactly how I see it. To me, that’s art―filtering what you see through your own headspace, your own life experience.”

The Art Walls are open during regular library hours.
