Siouxland Libraries’ Book Walk to Feature Children’s Entertainer Rockin’ Red

Energetic, entertaining Rockin’ Red will return to Siouxland Libraries’ Downtown Book Walk, for the second year in a row on Wednesday, June 26, 2019. She’ll perform original, upbeat songs geared toward children ages 1 to 12, from 9:30 to 10 a.m. and 10:15 to 10:45 a.m.

Children and families can take a walk and read the pages of children’s books along the Bike Path between the Downtown River Greenway Amphitheater and Falls Park. They can also visit the Bookmobile. Activities include a make-and-take craft and face painting. Refreshments will be served at the event that runs from 9 to 11 a.m.

Parking is available at Falls Park. The Book Walk begins near the Overlook Café and the Queen Bee Mill.

In case of inclement weather, the event will be held on Wednesday, August 14.
