There is a wide selection of work available at all of our library locations. Volunteer openings occur when a library division or branch feels there is a need for a volunteer to fill an opening. A qualified applicant is selected and assigned to the division. You may choose from processing new materials, shelving books, delivering materials in our Homebound Service, being a Puppeteer, and much, much more. We need both short-term and long-term volunteers.
Children may volunteer at Siouxland Libraries if they have completed 7th grade. Parental consent must be obtained for applicants under 18 years of age.
