Effective March 1, 2008, Siouxland Libraries will no longer accept donations of book or media materials.
As we prepare for the upcoming renovation of the Main Library, we will no longer have space to handle the volume of materials that have been donated in the past.
Customers wishing to donate book and media materials should check with charitable organizations or recycling agencies in Sioux Falls. There are several other organizations that have a need for books. Please contact the HELP!Line at 211 for a current list of nonprofit agencies that accept donations. Books can also be recycled. Look under “Recycling Services” in the Yellow Pages.
