You Are Here @ Siouxland Libraries
In celebration of 125 years of library service to the people of Sioux Falls and Minnehaha County, Siouxland Libraries will hold several events over the summer.
Festivities will culminate in a “You Are Here” event at all library branches, including the Westside Branch location, on September 17, 2011. This event aims to bring library users and supporters together to be counted and celebrate library service in Sioux Falls and Minnehaha County.
The first organized library group formed in 1886 with the purpose of providing books and materials to the people of the city of Sioux Falls. Minnehaha County began providing library services in 1958. The City and county libraries merged in 1995.

Siouxland Libraries Passport Program
Library users are encouraged to visit several Siouxland Library locations. Each person will be given a passport, and each branch will stamp one spot on the passport. Library users have until September 17 to visit four Siouxland Library locations and turn in the completed passport. There will be a drawing for a child, teen, and adult prize on September 23.
