The Big Read is a national reading program sponsored by the South Dakota Center for the Book and the National Endowment for the Arts. The 2008 title for Sioux Falls is Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. Events will run from April 1 to May 1, 2008.
Siouxland Libraries will host a book discussion on Monday, April 7 at 7 p.m. at the Caille Branch Library. Please contact Jane Taylor at 367-8140 for more information.
A showing of the film "Fahrenheit 451" is scheduled for Saturday, April 19 at 2 p.m. at the Oak View Branch.
