| The Ronning Library, 3100 East 49th Street, will host a free class for people interested in purchasing a home. The two-part seminar will be held on Wednesday, January 11, and Wednesday, January 18, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Homebuyer Express covers the entire home purchasing process, including goal setting, personal finances, down payments, mortgages, and closing, and is presented by the Consumer Credit Counseling Services of Lutheran Social Services. The program will also feature guest speakers who are experts in the industry.
Those who complete both sessions will receive a Homebuyer Education Resource Organization certificate, a $20 gift card to Camille’s or Kaladi’s (one card per family), and may be eligible for discounts on closing costs. Call 367-8140 to register, or click here to register online. |
