The Baltic Branch of Siouxland Libraries is closed for renovation for approximately three weeks. When the library reopens in mid-December, the interior of the library will have received a complete makeover with new shelving, carpeting, windows, paint, and lighting.

The renovation is a joint project between the city of Baltic and Siouxland Libraries. The city of Baltic is responsible for the majority of the project, with Siouxland Libraries contributing new shelving and an expanded library collection of books, movies, and music.

The city of Baltic continues to accept donations toward the purchase of the carpet. People have already donated over half of the carpet cost of $2,800.
