The Siouxland Libraries Main Library will again host the Mitten Tree in partnership with the Minnehaha County Junior Leaders.

The Mitten Tree is an annual project for the Junior Leaders. They are collecting mittens, socks, and hats for the Children’s Inn. Senior Librarian Monique Christensen said, “Siouxland Libraries is happy to partner with the Junior Leaders in this community effort.”

Donations can be brought to the Main Library, 200 North Dakota Avenue, and placed right onto the tree. Stopping at a different branch is not a problem; donations will also be accepted at any Siouxland Libraries location. Donations will be accepted throughout the month of December.
