The Main Library, 200 North Dakota Avenue, will host a free class for people interested in purchasing a home. The two-part seminar will be held on Wednesday, December 7, and Wednesday, December 14, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Homebuyer Express covers the entire home purchasing process, including goal setting, personal finances, down payments, mortgages, and closing, and is presented by the Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Lutheran Social Services. The program will also feature guest speakers who are experts in the industry.

Those who complete both sessions will receive a Homebuyer Education Resource Organization certificate, a $20 gift card to Camille’s or Kaladi’s (one card per family), and may be eligible for discounts on closing costs.
