Siouxland Libraries Youth Services staff will present The Elves and the Shoemaker, a puppet show for preschoolers and their families December 8 - 12. Puppet shows will be performed at 10:15 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at the Oak View branch on Tuesday, December 8; the Caille branch on Wednesday, December 9; and the Ronning branch on Thursday, December 10. The show will be given at the Brandon Performing Arts Center on Friday, December 11 at 10:15 a.m. and at the Oak View Branch on Saturday, December 12 at 11:00 a.m.

Admission is free but seating is limited for this story about a poor shoemaker who becomes successful with the help of two elves who secretly finish making his shoes at night. Groups of 10 or more must register in advance to attend by calling 367-8710.
