The Waterspout, a puppet show for children three years old and up, will be performed June 3 through June 6 by Siouxland Libraries Youth Services staff. In this humorous play, the Itsy Bitsy Spider discovers the challenges of living in a neighborhood rain gutter.
This puppet show will be performed at 10:05 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Oak View Branch on Tuesday, June 3; at the Caille Branch on Wednesday, June 4; and at the Ronning Branch on Thursday, June 5. The show will be held in the new Hartford-West Central Branch on Thursday, June 5 at 3:30 p.m. On Friday, June 6, the show will be given in the Brandon Elementary carpet gym at 10:05 a.m. and at the Baltic Branch at 2 p.m.
Admission to this free show is first-come, first-served, but groups of ten or more must register in advance to attend by calling the Main Branch at 367-8710. This program is offered as part of Siouxland Libraries’ summer reading club, Catch the Reading Bug @ your Library, where kids can earn a variety of prizes by keeping track of their summer reading. Reading logs are available at any Siouxland Libraries branch.
