Programs for teens

Teen programs are intended for students who have completed fifth grade and up. Programs will be held at the Oak View Branch, starting at 6:30 p.m. on Mondays as indicated.

Teen Movie Night - July 7

Stardust, the movie based on the young adult book by Neil Gaiman, will be shown for teens on the library’s big screen at 6:30 p.m. This film is rated PG 13 and tells the story of Tristran Thorn and his adventures in the land of Faerie. Tristran has fallen in love with beautiful Victoria and in order to win her hand, he must retrieve a magical fallen star and deliver it to her. Free popcorn!

Wii are the Champions: Nintendo Wii Olympic Games Night - July 14

Test your Wii skills in a variety of Olympic events.

Yoga Workshop - July 21

Certified Yoga instructor Deb Yoder will teach you basic Hatha Yoga poses (asanas) to benefit your body and spirit. Come dressed to stretch. Call 367-8710 beginning July 8 to reserve a spot in this workshop. Limit 15 participants.

Canaries Baseball Night - July 28

Turn in your completed reading log at the library and get a free pass to tonight’s game against St. Paul. The game starts at 7:05 p.m.
