The Singing Chick, a puppet show for preschoolers and their families, will be performed March 10–15 by Siouxland Libraries Youth Services staff. In this folktale-based story, a happy little chick, who sings a catchy little tune, can’t be held down for long by a hungry fox, wolf, or bear.
Admission is first-come, first-served, but groups of ten or more must register in advance to attend by calling the Main Branch at 367-8710. The show will be performed at 10:15 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Oak View Branch on Monday, March 10; the Main Branch on Tuesday, March 11; the Caille Branch on Wednesday, March 12; and the Ronning Branch on Thursday, March 13. The show will also be given at the Brandon Performing Arts Center on Friday, March 14, at 10:15 a.m. and at the Main Branch on Saturday, March 15, at 11 a.m.
