Living Library: Basics of Belief

Compassionate Sioux Falls’ popular Living Library event will next offer the opportunity to check out “books”―people representing various faith and belief systems―and learn through conversations with them. The Living Library: Basics of Belief will be held Saturday, October 14, 2017, 2 to 4 p.m. at Queen City Bakery, 324 East Eighth Street.

The following will be represented:
• Asatru
• Atheism
• Christian Evangelism
• Druid
• Islam
• Judaism
• Oglala Lakota
• Polytheism
• Wicca

The Living Library is a place where real people are “on loan” to readers in an effort to challenge stereotypes and prejudices by creating understanding. This event is free and open to the public. No registration is required.

If an ADA accommodation is needed, please contact the Human Relations Office at 605 367 8745 or at least 72 hours before the event.
